Community
Sponsorship
Agserv
Industries SA has a strong history of supporting community events and
sports on the Yorke Peninsula.
That support is possible only through the local community supporting
Agserv. Even then we cannot hope to be involved with all of the groups
that approach us. Agserv will continue to be successful if it is supported
by customers and we believe that, where possible, we should try to support
sports and events where our customers and families are involved. From
July 1, 2005 our customers will always get first preference in any sponsorship
decision. Our policy will be directly linked to sales.
As part
of the policy Agserv will not:
•
Sponsor any group involved in programmes that are not in the community
interest;
• Sponsor individuals. We prefer to provide sponsorship
that spreads the benefit;
• Sponsor any venture that is part of a profit making
business; and
• Sponsor any group that is a business competitor of
Agserv.
New
Machinery
When a customer purchases a new machine, that is a New Holland, Flexicoil,
Sonic, Croplands, or a Gason machine, Agserv will provide $100.00 to
their nominated sport, event or club in sponsorship agreement. That
agreement should provide the normal sponsor benefits, to be negotiated
between Agserv and the Club and meet the Agserv sponsorship policy requirements.
Used
Machinery
When a customer purchases a used machine, Agserv will donate $50.00
to the customer’s nominated sport, event or club, in line with
the same conditions relating to new machinery. (However, this will apply
only if the customer’s farm or business is based and operates
on the Yorke Peninsula )
Once a
customer has settled a purchase, donation negotiations will be opened
with the nominated beneficiary, negotiated, agreed and a payment made.
We will continue to support several specific events on the Peninsula
, including;
•
The Kadina Agricultural Show Society
• The Maitland Agricultural Show Society
