Termites Beware! ARILON Now Registered & Ready For Termite Use
For Pest Controllers out there looking to beat the termites this season, there’s good news: Syngenta’s ARILON insecticide has now been registered as a direct treatment for termites in walls, fence posts, poles, trees and nests.
Why Choose ARILON?
1. Eliminate Multiple Insects In One Community: A single dose of ARILON is enough to sweep through communal insect colonies fast. Its delayed mortality formula ensures that toxicants (with active ingredient ‘indoxacarb’) are transferred between termites and other insects, resulting in total colony elimination.
2. Internal & External Usage: ARILON can now be used with no restrictions on both internal and external surfaces. This means you won’t have to change chemicals halfway through a treatment. It can also be used on food handling sites and is HACCP certified.
3. Non-Repellent: ARILON is a non-repellent insecticide, meaning it is extremely beneficial for the environment and also won’t harm your customers. It can also be combined with ADVION and OPTIGARD gels for best results.
4. Easy, Flexible Applications: ARILON consists of a simple granule formulation that can be used in a spray, drip or foam application. This means you can customise your use of ARILON to suit the job at hand and better service your customers.
5.Economical and Cost-Effective: ARILON is a very economical insecticide, requiring only 4.5 grams to 1-litre of water. The flexible use of ARILON in both indoor and outdoor settings and its effectiveness in targeting a range of pests means you can save substantially on your insecticide costs. You can also purchase ARILON in 200g or 500g packs to suit your usage needs.
What Else Should I Know About ARILON?
Combine With Altriset For Great Results
Syngenta recommends using ARILON with a zone that has been treated by Altriset when targeting termites.
It should not be used as an in-ground soil barrier treatment, as the toxicants are not ideal for binding to soil for a lengthy period of time[NS1] .
Labelling
The new ARILON registration will be available soon from www.syngenta.com (we’ll let you know when they become available). PCOs can simply attach the downloaded label to an existing label if they plan to use their existing ARILON products to treat termites directly.

[NS1]Hi Eris, I wasn’t sure if they were saying you have to use Arilon with Altriset ALL the time, or if they were only saying you have to use it with Altriset in soil barrier treatments. Can u clarify? Thanks, Nat.
ARILON seems to be very effective for termite eradication but it is costly. I have recently called a pest controller team and they served me the best. They made a bond of 2 years in which they will server me pest, termite, bedbugs and rat control in every alternate month.
The services are providing are just great it will really people in maintaining their house pests and termites free. I will definitely prefer the services in future and also recommend these to others.
Is this product suitable for homes and houses as well? The choice of termite seems to be never ending these days and I am trying to decide which product is best for us. Any advice is great thanks. Leisa
Hi Leisa
The best thing to do is get a qualified, licensed, insured Pest Manager to come and assess you site, the issues and do a proper inspection. Then they will give you recommendations.
