Focusing on future trends and the future of Professional Pest Control
It’s a wrap – and the highly successful 2026 Agserv Pestech tour has now drawn to a close at Morphettville Racecourse in Adelaide.
The focus of the presentations for 2026 was “The Future of Professional Pest Control – challenges and opportunities”.
The keynote speaker for all six shows around Australia was the widely recognised and much respected Dr Raja Mahendran who gave a fascinating presentation on how PCOs can improve customer service and business in general through Proactive Pest Management. Feedback on the presentation was hugely positive.
In Brisbane and The Gold Coast specialists from The National Red Imported Fire Ant Eradication Program gave us an update of their efforts and successes.
Major sponsors Pelsis, Bell Laboratories, Envu, Syngenta and PCT each gave their interesting view of the future for our industry. Bell explained their view of the future of rodent control in this country and PCT launched and explained their new non-anticoagulant rodenticide block – Gnaw.
The Pest Technician of the year, which is sponsored by Agserv was awarded to a very deserving candidate at the Brisbane show. AEPMA had local members present and update delegates on the tremendous efforts of our Association.
There was a record number of trade show displays too, with booths from all different parts of Pest Control.
It seems that the record number of attendees (well over 400 pest controllers) from around Australia really enjoyed and took some insights from Pestech 2026!
