The Cobra is engineered to outperform conventional insect light traps by maximising attraction and accelerating fly catch rates. Designed and manufactured in the UK, it uses patented Translucent Technology™ to deliver superior UVA light transmission and a wider attraction footprint than traditional non-translucent units.
Laboratory testing shows that the Cobra catches up to 260% more flies after just 30 minutes compared to non-translucent units of similar power. Its translucent front cover and internal reflector panels provide all-round UVA emission, reducing blind spots and increasing effectiveness — even against smaller, hard-to-catch species such as fruit flies. Designed for both front- and back-of-house applications.
