Versatility. Demand® provides effective control of a wide range of adult mosquitoes in open areas. There are several species of mosquitos. Each of these species of Mosquito’s can be responsible for spreading the above different virus or disease. It is only the female Mosquito that bites humans and other mammals for a blood meal, so she can lay her eggs, so the Mosquito species survives.
Different Mosquito species feed at differing times of the day and night, but they all have a unique habit of tasting with their mouth parts, the surface they land on. This is where you can apply a residual insecticide for great effect.
EASY TRANSFERAL AND TIMED RELEASE
Demand® delivers effective control with the active ingredient’s diffusion through the pest’s cuticle. Demand® is engineered so that once applied to the shaded and humid areas where mosquitoes rest, some microcapsules release quickly while others remain on the surface for easy transferal and longer control. Demand® should be applied to the foliage of trees and shrubs, turf, and other landing and harborages. And due to extremely low use rates, Demand® minimises the amount of chemical introduced into the environment and is a low-hazard product when applied as directed. Care should be taken to avoid bees, fishponds and pets.
USAGE RATES AND APPLICATION
Make a single application of 10L of dilute Demand® per 200m2 of surface area, applied for thorough and even coverage. Backpack equipment, power sprayer or aerosol generating equipment such as mist blowers may be used. Apply to target and perimeter areas. Repeat treatments as needed during the months that mosquitoes are active.
