Agserv Pestech 2014 has officially wrapped and we’re proud to announce it was a huge success!
Pesties from all over participated in seminars, presentations and workshops put on by the industries finest. Attendees honed their skills and learned new tricks of the trade to help grow their pest control business and serve their customers better.
The conference attracted 378 attendees in total: 138 in Queensland, 155 in New South Wales, and 85 in Victoria.
While the delicious food and fantastic venues had attendees buzzing, it was the hands-on workshops and demonstrations that received the most positive feedback.
What happened at Pestech 2014?
FMC was on hand, teaching those working on domestic homes to improve termite management through their Construction Methods & Pitfalls of Termite Management Systems presentation. Attendees learned to identify and effectively treat problem areas in all stages of construction. View the Presentation.
Bell used examples in their Value Packed Rodent Control presentation to show how even the trickiest infestations can be managed with rodenticide and through understanding rodent behaviour. Attendees also learned how save money and reduce harm to humans and the environment. View the Presentation.
Bayer touched on the business side of things with their presentation on how to AmplifyYour Pest Business. They overviewed the popular Bayer Amplify program, which helps members improve their business through training courses and provides access to marketing tools and SEO reports. View the Presentation.
BASF introduced the future of pest control solutions with their presentation on Phantom PI and System III, which optimise insecticide application and eradicate pests in a way that saves money and satisfies customers. View the Presentation.
Syngenta targeted termites in their presentation on Foaming and Direct Termite Treatments. Attendees learned of the ins-and-outs of foaming and saw the product in action through a live demo. Altriset and Arilon were also discussed as must-have firepower against termites. View the Presentation.

Correct Flytrap Placement rian Pesties learned how to manage fly infestations through this hands-on demo by our very own Dave Fielder. Participants discovered how to become leaders in fly control through correct flytrap placement, and by understanding UV metres for placing and testing traps. Dave also provided tips for developing fly treatment quotes that make customers happy!View the Presentation.
Controlling the Fermentation Fly (Sydney & Bateman’s Bay). This hands-on demo by John Rutledge showcased the identification and treatment of fruit fly infestations while considering all HACCP regulations. Contact John Rutledge if you would like information
